FAQs

How many sessions can I choose?

As many as you want! Most seniors choose multiple sessions to ensure a greater variety of clothing choices, pose styles and backgrounds. We offer 7 different sessions (Vogue, Studio, Outdoor, Beach, Black & White, Xtreme, Traditional).

How do I schedule my sessions?

You may call us or stop by the studio and our staff will be happy to help you. Regular studio hours can be found here. We are located at 1332 Sheridan Rd in Winthrop Harbor, IL, just 12 miles NE of Gurnee Mills. Please note Tuesday evenings and Saturdays are primetime appointments and require a nonrefundable pre-payment to secure your session times. In the event of illness we appreciate 24 hours notice to reschedule. Visa, Master and Discover cards are accepted.

How do I take advantage of discounted sessions?

Session times fill up quickly so call ASAP to reserve the date and time you want. All sessions must be scheduled at the same time and within the month of specials you like. Avoid scheduling at the very end of the month since specials cannot roll over into the next month if there's an emergency or illness. Rescheduled sessions will fall under regular session prices, year round specials or the specials featured for that month.

If I missed out on the summer specials, are there any other session discounts?

Absolutely! Check out our September and October Specials as well as our Year Round Specials found at the bottom of the special's page.

What happens if I'm scheduled for an Outdoor session and it rains?

If you're scheduled for any indoor sessions along with an outdoor, we will still proceed with that part of it. Bring your outdoor outfit(s) just in case. It might be raining where you are, but not here. Your outdoor session(s) will be rescheduled. Any outdoor specials will be honored if having to reschedule into the next month due to weather.

If you are scheduled for an outdoor session only and it's raining here, we will contact you approximately 2 hours before your session to reschedule. We like to wait because sometimes it clears up!

What if I'm scheduled for a Beach session and it's cloudy and windy?

Cloudy is fine and your session will continue as usual. Overcast days make it easier on the eyes therefore allowing natural expressions to flow quicker.

A slight breeze is enevitable but if it's ultra windy, this part of your session will be rescheduled. Any indoor sessions will continue as usual.

How much do the pictures cost?

It all depends on what and how you order. Much like calling a department store asking how much a shirt costs, you already know it all depends on what kind of shirt you buy. A La-Carte portrait pricing is available however, packages are at a reduced rate. We offer a wide variety of packages and several include custom creations and specialty items that seniors and parents love. Packaging is the easiest, most cost effective way to order but they too depend on how many poses you like, the number of items you need and which finishes you like best.

With our many discounted packages, there is something available for everyone no matter the budget. Our portrait consultant will help you find the one that's right for you - and don't worry, there's no high pressure sales pitch. It's all for you to decided based on what you like and want.

I graduated in 2010, can I still have my pictures taken?

Of course! You can come in for sessions anytime. Year Round session specials and senior package ordering are available until June 30, however our new Summer Specials and bonus offers only apply to the next graduating Class of 2011. If scheduling a session after June, sessions and package/portrait ordering are reserved under individuals/couples. All posted senior information, specials and pricing within the SENIOR category are for the graduating class beginning June 1, 2010 - May 31, 2011.
